Bagless Activity ,29-10-24 yoga Activity oday, the grade 1 & Grade -II educators organized a bagless day for the students, celebrating their freedom from mid-term exams with a variety of engaging activities. The day included yoga, circle time sports, calligraphy, and arts and crafts, providing a mix of fun and learning. The students were thrilled to participate and enjoyed every moment of the activities!

English Reading Challenge ,29-04-24 Reading English Reading Challenge Showcase - Grades 3 to 5 at JPS Academy Nissing! "Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary." In line with this thought, JPS Academy Nissing hosted an invigorating Reading Challenge for students from Grade 3 to Grade 5 on April 29, 2024. The challenge commenced with preliminary rounds on April 24 and 25, where students demonstrated their skills in pronunciation, fluency, and phonics. From a talented pool of 320 young readers, 30 exceptional students advanced to the final round. The competition was fierce but filled with enthusiasm as each contestant read with zeal and dedication. Judged by the esteemed Ms. Shallu, Ms. Shanti, and Ms. Avleen, and observed by our respected Principal Sir, the event was a celebration of budding literary talent. Yoga Activity ,26/12/2023 warm up & Yoga Aasan Let us do Yoga …… Grades 3 to 5 , Yoga Session ( 26 and 27 Dec) Yoga enlightens the one who practices it on a regular basis. It purifies the body by removing the toxins from the body and empowers us to take up the challenges in life. Workshop on Mannerism ,08/12/2023 Presentation & activities "Manners are the basic building blocks of the society" An illuminating and interesting workshop on Mannerism was organised today in the premises of JPS Academy, Nissing. Various aspects of good behaviour and etiquettes including table manners, respect, honesty and morality were discussed and explained well through a blend of an act, visual presentation and some innovative activities for the kids.
Computer Quiz Junior 2023-24 ,01/12/2023 MCQ & One Word Answer "COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY IS SO BUILT INTO OUR LIVES THAT IT'S PART OF THE SURROUND OF EVERY ARTIST." To encourage the students to widen their knowledge of computers, Computer Quiz was organized at JPS ACADEMY School, NISSING. The competition took place in five rounds (Grade III-V). Science Quiz ,30-10-23 MCQ f you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it.’ An exciting Science Quiz was held on 30 October 2023 . The quiz was held in the school multipurpose hall and was graced with the presence of our respected principal sir who motivated the participants and conveyed his best wishes for the quiz. The students of class 7-9 were the enthusiastic audience to witness this exciting event. The quiz was divided into four rounds: General Questions round, Visuals round, Activities base round and Rapid Fire. All the students were at the edge of their seats to know the answers and the participants were very active.This quiz truly was a learning experience, for both the audience and the participants. There were five teams : ALPHA, BETA, GAMMA,OMEGA and PIE. In the end, ALPHA team bagged the first position, scoring a total of 65 points, BETA team was placed at the second position with 55 points and OMEGA at the third place with 45 points.

English Declamation ,27-10-23 Speech ENGLISH DECLAMATION COMPETITION by JPS ACADEMY, NISSING School for Children (IIIrd to Vth) Everything in your life is the reflection of a choice you have made. It was a treat to hear all the participants delivering the speeches with keen enthusiasm and perfection, dressed in the attire of the speaker. JPS Academy, Nissing, organized a remarkable debate competition on October -20-2023. The motive of event was a resounding success, fostering critical thinking, public speaking skills, and intellectual engagement among our students. The debate topics ranged from social issues to global affairs, allowing students to delve into a wide array of subjects. One of the most engaging aspects of this competition was the introduction of the "Interjector's Round." In this round, interjectors had the unique opportunity to ask questions from participants.This added a dynamic and interactive element to the debates, challenging participants to defend their arguments and adapt to unexpected inquiries. Hindi Abhinay Partiyogita 2023-24 ,11-10-23 Play roles of different People आज हमारे जे.पी.एस अकादमी के प्रांगण में हिंदी अभिनय प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। इसमें कक्षा तीसरी से पांचवी तक के सभी बच्चों ने भाग लिया । बच्चों ने तरह-तरह के अभिनय से सबका मन मोह लिया। किसी ने भगत सिंह का रोल किया ,किसी ने रानी लक्ष्मीबाई का ,किसी ने किसानों का , किसी ने नीरज चोपड़ा खिलाड़ी का अभिनय किया ,किसी बच्चे ने महात्मा गांधी का रोल किया। सभी बच्चों ने तरह-तरह अभिनय गतिविधियां करी और अपने अपने अनुसार उन्हें प्रस्तुत किया । बाकी बच्चों ने उनका जोरदार तालिया बजाकर स्वागत किया और आदरणीय प्रधानाचार्य जी एवं उप प्रधानाचार्य जी ने भी बच्चों का बड़ा उत्साह बढ़ाया ।प्रधानाचार्य जी ने बच्चों को बधाइयां दी और आगे भी बच्चों को आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। विजेता बच्चों को प्रमाण पत्र भी दिए गए।

English Poem Recitation Competition ,2023-08-28 English Poem "Poetry is when an emotion has found its thoughts and the thoughts has found words” An English Poem Recitation Competition was organised on 28 August,2023 in JPS Academy Nissing for the students of grade VI to VIII. Recitation is one of the important and effective modes of learning a language.Taking all these facts into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The competition inspired the children to come forward and recite on stage. The children came up with different poems and recited with great zeal and enthusiasm. Karmanpreet Kaur- VIII. ENGLISH POEM RECITATION ,2023-08-25 Competition "Poetry is the core of literature." To spread the fragrance of poetry among the children, a poem recitation competition was held in English on 25th August 2023 in our school. Bag Maintenance Activity ,2023-05-26 Check Book & Notebook ,Cleanliness Our "Problems" and "Dreams" are like our "Books," and our "Life" is like our "school bags"! Don't forget to put it on your timetable daily. JPS ACADEMY NISSING organized a Bag maintenance activity for Grade-1and 2. It teaches students how to maintain their school bags on a daily basis, a good habit every child should follow. During the activity, the class teacher checked the bags and guided the students on proper maintenance. Here are the instructions: The bag size should match the child's needs. The bag should be kept neat and clean. Notebooks and books should be covered properly, following the teacher's instructions. Only useful items should be kept in the bag. The bag should be well-organized according to the timetable.
Reading Challenge 2023-24 ,2023-04-30 comprehension skills "The more we read, the more things we learn". The act of reading is all about transforming words into images in our mind. And, that takes imagination. To increase the students' comprehension skills and to strengthen their brains, an English Reading Challenge Competition was organised in JPS Academy Nissing for grades VI to VIII on 30 April, 2023 in which Janish of VIII Ganges scored Ist position. Warisdeep from VII Ganges and Ravneet Kaur from VIII Ganges achieved IInd Position and Tanishq of VIII Kaveri was at III place. Principal Sir congratulated them and motivated all the students to widen their vocabulary by inculcating reading habits.

Haryana Day Celebration ,2022-03-11 Cultural Dance & Skit Happy Haryana Day to Everyone, 'Let's work together for its betterment and prosperity.' To mark the celebration of Haryana day, it was celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety in JPS Academy, Nissing on 31 October, 2022. Dressed in their ethnic best,the students displayed elegant cultural dances. Students of grade VII presented thought provoking haryanvi skit. The students apprised the audience about the agricultural, industrial, spiritual development of Haryana through their performances. Harshpreet of IX Kaveri delivered a speech highlighting the valuable contribution of the iron man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Principal Sir appreciated the students. It was really an enlightening show.
Diwali Celebration 2022-23 ,2022-10-22 Assembly JPS ACADEMY celebrated clean and green Diwali with festive gusto. The day started with a special morning assembly wherein students delivered speeches on the significance of the festival and the relevance of eco-friendly celebrations. There was the cultural programme on this occasion. Students were wearing colorful dresses.Various other activities such as Rangoli-making’, candle and ‘diya’ decoration, Class decoration were organised in all the classes. Our Respected Principal sir made the speech in the end. He urged the students not to play with fireworks on this festival. He also wished that the whole of India might be healthier and more prosperous.Then the programme ended with this noble gesture. Certainly it was the unique Diwali we had ever celebrated. English Extempore Competition2022-23 ,2022-04-30 Topic given of the Spot "Public speaking is the art ✍️of diluting a minute idea with one hour vocabulary". Extempore is the art of public speaking and it tests one’s ability to think and speak on the spot. To imbibe a true spirit of learning and to enhance the communication skills in students, English Extempore Competition🏆 was organised in JPS Academy on April 30, 2022 for VI to VIII grades. The students were asked to pick up a topic.Every participant was given precisely a minute to perform. It was indeed astounding to see how beautifully students had put their thoughts, insights and delivered their speech. The parameters of Judgement were content, vocabulary, fluency, confidence and their body language. ( Friday ) The school took a festive look and great enthusiasm was observed in the eyes and body of students. Honourable Chairman , Shri Yogender Rana ji, Mrs.Anju Rana ji and Principal of the school Sh. Balraj Singh ji motivated the students with their auspicious presence . Science Quiz ,2021-10-27 Quiz "Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge." On 27th October 2021, Inter House Science Quiz Competition was conducted in JPS Academy Nissing for grade IX to XII with the aim to inculcate the spirit of scientific enquiry and analytical thinking among the students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation with four participants in each house. The quiz entailed four rounds for each house.First round was visual round and fourth round was finger fast round which was enjoyed by the students.The event contained many questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All the houses participated actively but the winner of this quiz was Chandragupta house (Vanshika from XII, Harshdeep from XI,Niharika X Ganges and Sachin IXGanges).Second position was grabbed by Bhagat Singh house and AryaBhatta House got third position in this quiz.

DIWALI CELEBRATION ,2020-11-12 CLASS ACTIVITY Report:- "It is time to remove darkness of ignorance within us and replace it with the light of hope and knowledge." The festivals of light came alive at JPS Academy Nissing on 12 November, 2020 when Diwali was celebrated spreading the message of celebrating safe and eco friendly Diwali. Card making, Diya and Candle Decoration, Rangoli, lantern making and Dance competitions were held to enhance the creative skills of the students of grade VI to XI. Independence Day Celebration ,2019-08-15 Patriotic JPS Academy, Nissing celebrated the 73rd Independence Day remembering the martyrdom of our freedom fighters. The function was celebrated with great fervor and gaiety. The school campus looked immensely beautiful with tricolour all around. The students presented poems, melodious patriotic song and various dance performances. Besides, a heart-touching skit on brother's - sister's bond was also enacted by the students. Energetic chants of "Jai Hind" reverberated all over the courtyard. The quiz was held in the school multipurpose hall and was graced with the presence of our respected principal sir who motivated the participants and conveyed his best wishes for the quiz. The quiz was divided into four rounds: General Questions round, Visuals round, Activities base round and Rapid Fire. On 27th October 2021, Inter House Science Quiz Competition was conducted in JPS Academy Nissing for grade IX to XII with the aim to inculcate the spirit of scientific enquiry and analytical thinking among the students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation with four participants in each house. The quiz entailed four rounds for each house.First round was visual round and fourth round was finger fast round which was enjoyed by the students.The event contained many questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All the houses participated actively but the winner of this quiz was Chandragupta house (Vanshika from XII, Harshdeep from XI,Niharika X Ganges and Sachin IXGanges).Second position was grabbed by Bhagat Singh house and AryaBhatta House got third position in this quiz.

Emotions related to safety, patriotism, environmental concern, undefined love of mother, value of school came alive on the stage with the props displaying style and resplendence. Apart, various mesmerizing and cute display of talent was done by the kids of kindergarten section. The theme in itself added cheerful sounds of appreciation.

Patriotic

JPS Academy, Nissing celebrated the 73rd Independence Day remembering the martyrdom of our freedom fighters. The function was celebrated with great fervor and gaiety. The school campus looked immensely beautiful with tricolour all around. The students presented poems, melodious patriotic song and various dance performances. Besides, a heart-touching skit on brother's - sister's bond was also enacted by the students. Energetic chants of "Jai Hind" reverberated all over the courtyard. The programme culminated with an inspirational addressal by honourable Principal Sir, thus making the students realize the importance of being independent.

जे. पी. एस. एकेडमी ने मनाई अंबेडकर जयंती व बैसाखी पर्व जे. पी. एस. एकेडमी निसिंग के हरित प्रांगण में डॉक्टर बाबा साहेब भीमराव अंबेडकर जयंती तथा बैसाखी का पर्व अत्यंत धूमधाम व हर्षोल्लास से संपन्न हुआ। बैसाखी कार्यक्रम एकेडमी संचालक श्री योगेंद्र राणा, श्रीमती अंजू राणा व प्रधानाचार्य श्री बलराज सिंह की उपस्थिति में हुआ। एकेडमी के आर्यभट्ट सदन के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा बैसाखी पर्व पर आधारित प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें विद्यार्थियों द्वारा बैसाखी पर्व की महत्ता और डॉक्टर भीमराव अंबेडकर के विषय में महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियों पर प्रकाश डाला गया। भारतीय किसानों के प्रसिद्ध व पंजाब-हरियाणा के रंगीन त्यौहार बैसाखी पर ग्रेड पाँचवी व छठी के विद्यार्थियों ने ‘मेले पंजाब दे’ गाने की पंक्तियों को मधुर स्वर में गुनगुना कर दर्शकों को भाव विभोर कर मुक्त कंठ से गाने व झूमने पर विवश कर वातावरण को हर्षित कर दिया। इसी खुशी के अवसर पर ग्रेड आठवीं व नौवीं के विद्यार्थियों ने ढोल वजदा ,ढोल वजदा रंगला पंजाब के प्रसिद्ध भांगड़े पर थिरकते हुए वातावरण में चार चांद लगा दिए और लड़कियों ने ‘कुड़ियां पंजाब दी’

The starting of this special assembly was done by a melodious Patriotic Song. A vast and remarkable knowledge was shared through Speech, Thought and Poem . General knowledge questions were asked and well explained to the students based on our Constitution. The Principal, Mr. Balraj Singh appreciated the performances and also told the students about the importance of the day.

An Inter-House Social Science Quiz was held on Wednesday,5th Dec,2018 for the students from Grades 6th to 9th at JPS Academy,Nissing. Students of all the four Houses i.e Chandragupta House, Bhagat Singh House, Aryabhatta House and Chanakya House participated in the quiz with full enthusiasm and excitement.There were five rounds in the quiz.The Principal Mr Balraj Singh,was the guest of honor for the event. Quiz on Social Studies covers the various aspects of Historical, Geographical, Sociological and Psychological life of the people. It gives an overview, a glimpse of the cultures and monuments of the different parts of the world.The results were announced in the gathering thus motivating the students to participate with even more enthusiasm in future events. The 1st Tiny Tots show titled "Udaan"of JPS Academy, Nissing was celebrated on Saturday,17th November,2018 with lots of enthusiasm. This day amidst great zest vibrancy and elation. Shri Bhagwan Dass Kabir Panthi,MLA,Nilokheri was the Hon’ble Chief Guest ,among other dignitaries present were worthy President of JPS Society Shri Dushant Rana Ji, The Chairman of JPS Academy Shri Yogender Rana Ji and other school management members. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the hon’ble Chief Guest escorted by the other dignitaries and the Principal of JPS Academy Nissing.This entailed the plant presentation and pinning of the badges.Principal Mr Balraj Singh read out the annual report. Principal briefed the audience with the vision of the institution and intercultural learning programmes.The programme commenced with Welcome dance followed by Vandana depicting obeisance to the Almighty.A glittering bonanza of skits, dances depicting carefree life, hidden desires were staged.
