Various aspects of good behaviour and etiquettes including table manners, respect, honesty and morality were discussed and explained well through a blend of an act, visual presentation and some innovative activities for the kids.

f you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it.’ An exciting Science Quiz was held on 30 October 2023 . The quiz was held in the school multipurpose hall and was graced with the presence of our respected principal sir who motivated the participants and conveyed his best wishes for the quiz. The students of class 7-9 were the enthusiastic audience to witness this exciting event. The quiz was divided into four rounds: General Questions round, Visuals round, Activities base round and Rapid Fire. All the students were at the edge of their seats to know the answers and the participants were very active.This quiz truly was a learning experience, for both the audience and the participants. There were five teams : ALPHA, BETA, GAMMA,OMEGA and PIE. In the end, ALPHA team bagged the first position, scoring a total of 65 points, BETA team was placed at the second position with 55 points and OMEGA at the third place with 45 points.

"Poetry is when an emotion has found its thoughts and the thoughts has found words” An English Poem Recitation Competition was organised on 28 August,2023 in JPS Academy Nissing for the students of grade VI to VIII. Recitation is one of the important and effective modes of learning a language.Taking all these facts into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The competition inspired the children to come forward and recite on stage. The children came up with different poems and recited with great zeal and enthusiasm. Karmanpreet Kaur- VIII. Ganges, Udhav Singla- VII Kaveri and Divya- VII Kaveri were declared as winners wheread Dharna, Mansaib, Tejaswini and Radhika were Ist Runners up.Principal Sir congratulated them for their tremendous success.

Our "Problems" and "Dreams" are like our "Books," and our "Life" is like our "school bags"! Don't forget to put it on your timetable daily. JPS ACADEMY NISSING organized a Bag maintenance activity for Grade-1and 2. It teaches students how to maintain their school bags on a daily basis, a good habit every child should follow. During the activity, the class teacher checked the bags and guided the students on proper maintenance. Here are the instructions: The bag size should match the child's needs. The bag should be kept neat and clean. Notebooks and books should be covered properly, following the teacher's instructions. Only useful items should be kept in the bag. The bag should be well-organized according to the timetable.

To increase the students' comprehension skills and to strengthen their brains, an English Reading Challenge Competition was organised in JPS Academy Nissing for grades VI to VIII on 30 April, 2023 in which Janish of VIII Ganges scored Ist position. Warisdeep from VII Ganges and Ravneet Kaur from VIII Ganges achieved IInd Position and Tanishq of VIII Kaveri was at III place. शब्दों को मिले पंख अपनी - अपनी कविता के संग ' हिंदी हमारी मातृभाषा है और हमारा कर्तव्य बनता है कि हम इसे अच्छी तरह से सीखें । वाचन कौशल को निखारने के लिए, बच्चों का विश्वास तथा मातृभाषा के प्रति रुचि को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से दिनांक 29 अप्रैल 2023 को जे पी एस एकेडमी निसिंग , करनाल के प्रांगण में कक्षा छठी से आठवीं के छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए अंतः सदन हिंदी कविता वाचन प्रतियोगिता तथा अंग्रेजी भाषा के उपयोग - उच्चारण हेतु इंग्लिश रीडिंग चैलेंज प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। इन प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन हिंदी व अंग्रेजी विभाग की अध्यापिकाओं के द्वारा किया गया । विद्यालय के चारो सदनों के बच्चों ने अपनी-अपनी कविता के माध्यम से सम सामयिक विषयों जैसे कि प्रकृति , समय की उपयोगिता , भ्रष्टाचार , ऊर्जा संसाधन , गरीबी , देश प्रेम और नैतिक मूल्यों को अत्यंत ही लुभावने अंदाज में प्रस्तुत किया तथा इंग्लिश रीडिंग चैलेंज में सभी विद्यार्थियों ने दिए गए विषयों को पढ़कर अपनी अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया ।

Dressed in their ethnic best,the students displayed elegant cultural dances. Students of grade VII presented thought provoking haryanvi skit. The students apprised the audience about the agricultural, industrial, spiritual development of Haryana through their performances. Harshpreet of IX Kaveri delivered a speech highlighting the valuable contribution of the iron man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Principal Sir appreciated the students. JPS ACADEMY celebrated clean and green Diwali with festive gusto. The day started with a special morning assembly wherein students delivered speeches on the significance of the festival and the relevance of eco-friendly celebrations. There was the cultural programme on this occasion. Students were wearing colorful dresses.Various other activities such as Rangoli-making’, candle and ‘diya’ decoration, Class decoration were organised in all the classes. The students were asked to pick up a topic.Every participant was given precisely a minute to perform. "Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge." On 27th October 2021, Inter House Science Quiz Competition was conducted in JPS Academy Nissing for grade IX to XII with the aim to inculcate the spirit of scientific enquiry and analytical thinking among the students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation with four participants in each house. The quiz entailed four rounds for each house.First round was visual round and fourth round was finger fast round which was enjoyed by the students.The event contained many questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All the houses participated actively but the winner of this quiz was Chandragupta house (Vanshika from XII, Harshdeep from XI,Niharika X Ganges and Sachin IXGanges).Second position was grabbed by Bhagat Singh house and AryaBhatta House got third position in this quiz.

Report:- "It is time to remove darkness of ignorance within us and replace it with the light of hope and knowledge." The festivals of light came alive at JPS Academy Nissing on 12 November, 2020 when Diwali was celebrated spreading the message of celebrating safe and eco friendly Diwali. Card making, Diya and Candle Decoration, Rangoli, lantern making and Dance competitions were held to enhance the creative skills of the students of grade VI to XI. Principal Sir offered his warm wishes to the children and reiterated that children should celebrate pollution free Diwali in its purest form by lightning the lamps and sharing greetings. Director Sir also made his presence felt by wishing to all a joyous Diwali.

JPS Academy, Nissing celebrated the 73rd Independence Day remembering the martyrdom of our freedom fighters. The function was celebrated with great fervor and gaiety. The school campus looked immensely beautiful with tricolour all around. The students presented poems, melodious patriotic song and various dance performances. Besides, a heart-touching skit on brother's - sister's bond was also enacted by the students. Energetic chants of "Jai Hind" reverberated all over the courtyard. The programme culminated with an inspirational addressal by honourable Principal Sir, thus making the students realize the importance of being independent.

Students of all the four Houses i.e Chandragupta House, Bhagat Singh House, Aryabhatta House and Chanakya House participated in the quiz with full enthusiasm and excitement.There were five rounds in the quiz.The Principal Mr Balraj Singh,was the guest of honor for the event. Shri Bhagwan Dass Kabir Panthi,MLA,Nilokheri was the Hon’ble Chief Guest ,among other dignitaries present were worthy President of JPS Society Shri Dushant Rana Ji, The Chairman of JPS Academy Shri Yogender Rana Ji and other school management members.
