SMART CLASSROOM

The classrooms of the school are student-centric. They are not only spacious and well-lit but are also centrally air-conditioned and provide a suitable teaching-learning ambience. The furniture of the classrooms is made of a pleasing, light coloured wood and is custom-designed not only to suit all age groups but has rounded edges for safety and comfort.

Each classroom is fitted with a high quality, latest audio-visual equipment – the Smart Board. Subject contents and study material of all subjects, as per the syllabus, are uploaded in collaboration with EDUNXT. The same is upgraded from time to time, or as and when required Our complete school system evokes an environment of keenness to learn and comprehend which is the main area of progress as deemed fit for our institutional standards.

PHYSICS LAB

JPS Academy Nissing has a well-designed Physics Laboratory which provides facilities to the students to conduct various activities, experiments and projects. The lab has equipment and apparatuses which can be used to understand various concepts and methods of measurements with greater accuracy, wave formation and propagation, phenomena involving reflection and refraction of light, properties of matter, electricity, magnetic effects of electric current, semiconductor devices etc. Many group activities and projects are being carried out by students under the guidance of the teachers.

CHEMISTRY LAB

Chemistry Laboratory provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them. The Lab is provided with state- of- the art devices like- Fume hood, Distillation unit, Electronic weighing machine, Bunsen burners, beakers and flasks. Concealed gas line and the safety devices such as Firefighting equipment, First- Aid Kit etc. The acids and other reactive chemicals are stored in separate locked cupboards as a further precautionary measure. The students are provided with separate workstations with individual burners and plug points. The apparatus includes the common place strikers, mortar and pestle, clay triangles, watch glasses, crucibles, crucible tongs, chemical spoon, stirring rods, filter funnels and a variety of stoppers.

BIOLOGY LAB

Biology Laboratory planned to meet the demands of the advancement in science and technology. The laboratory apparatus ranges from simple slides, test-tube, petri dishes to the composite microscopes of varying powers to observe samples and organisms closely. They are high-powered, extremely expensive, and sensitive pieces of equipment that can make even the smallest part of a single cell seem clear. Besides the aforesaid the laboratory also has charts, models and specimens meant for demonstrations. The exhaust system efficiently sustains a comfortable environment in the room even while performing experiments requiring chemicals that let out fumes.

MATHEMATICS LAB

Mathematics laboratory is a place where students can learn and explore various mathematical concepts and verify different mathematical facts and theories using varieties of activities and material. The use of mathematics laboratory helps to integrate theory and practical work in mathematics teaching / learning. Our school boasts of state of the art Math’s laboratory where students of all classes compulsorily visit once in a week at least, to learn the practical aspects of the syllabus.

COMPUTER LAB

The school integrates Information and Communication technology into the curriculum, and thus provides the latest resources in this field. The school has two fully equipped Computer Labs- Senior and Junior labs with more than 40 computers in each. The students from classes I to XII have unlimited but monitored access to computers equipped with latest software and net accessibility.

As a Microsoft Showcase School, we are giving exposer to our students to explore various educational tools of Microsoft Office like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, One Drive etc.

LIBRARY

The Academy has a spacious and well equipped library. The library has sections ranging from text books and reference books to fiction and general knowledge. There are a variety of books available for students of all levels on various subjects, literature, travel etc. the school subscribes newspapers and magazines to enable students to gain knowledge and develop interest in reading.

ARTS & CRAFT LAB

The school has an Art and Craft Room, where students of classes first onwards can develop their creativity in drawing, painting and craft. Students are taught how to use water colours, oil colours and pastel colours and pencil sketching. They also learn how to make sand painting, nib painting, and screen painting and also learn to make various handicrafts and things from waste material. To enhance the creativity of the young learners, well equipped Art and Craft Room is available to focus on flourishing dipsites’ artistic zeal by engaging them in various art arenas like drawing, painting, tie and dye, sculpture making etc.

MUSIC ROOM

The school provides equitable access to music & all the benefits that can be gained through its learning. The sheer aim is to foster an appreciation for music, build self-esteem, teach critical social skills & engender creativity. Music education in the school is well rounded including both Indians, Classical & Western music. The genre of music ranges from Indian folks songs to English classical and fusion. By the end of a student’s school life, they can take pride in the treasure trove of music that they have learnt so far.

DANCE ROOM

The school provides equitable access to Dance Room. The sheer aim is to foster an appreciation for music, build self-esteem, teach critical social skills and engender creativity and innovation. Music education in the school is well rounded including Indians, Classical and Western music. The genre of music ranges from Indian folks songs to English classical and fusion. By the end of a student’s school life, they can take pride in the treasure trove of music that they have learnt so far.

PLAYGROUND

Sports play a pivotal role in the makeup of young students as they inculcate the values of discipline, responsibility, self confidence, sacrifice & accountability in the young impressionable minds. The school has appointed specialized coaches to guide and train the students in the game of their interest. The huge arena provided in the campus caters to the needs of the budding sports persons. To ensure a balanced growth of body and mind, the school has a huge sports arena which fields many outdoor and indoor sports like-

• Outdoor Games - Athletic, Basketball, Volleyball, Kabbaddi, Kho-Kho, Handball, Cricket.
• Indoor Games - Table-Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Tabletop Football.

RECEPTION AREA

Our school reception area is a friendly atmosphere helps to reflect the character and ethos of the school. But the reception area has more purposes than just being an entranceway to the school. It is likely to be a fully functioning central hub for our school where all the administration, paper storage and IT solutions are handled daily. The flow of people within this space has to be carefully considered.

CONFERENCE HALL

The 768-square-foot Conference room located on the ground floor features round table style seating for 40 to 50. The hall is fully air conditioned and has access to hi-speed internet connection. . It is a popular venue for School events, such as workshops, seminars, conferences, student performances and competitive exams.

STAFF ROOM

To build such wide growth amongst teachers, JPS Academy Nissing has two different staff rooms. First staff room is in the ground floor where the primary teachers discuss and share their ideas in teaching different subjects. The second staff rooms are in first floor. Here high-school teachers work together to build better learning environment for students. Each staff room has a small kitchen with an electric coffee machine and a clearing table and attached two washrooms separately one for male staff & one for female staff. The staff rooms are very spacious and properly ventilated. Each teacher is given a personal space to keep their reference books, teaching and learning materials. They are also given a locker to keep their personal and important stuff. Staff rooms are meant to build up a friendly, professional and efficient service. Our school staff rooms are perfect to create such environment.

ACTIVITY ROOM

Our School has equipped with a specially designed Activity Room for all Visual & Performing Art. The walls of the room are painted and decorated with cut outs to achieve desired changes in child's personality. Activities such as Reading, Painting, Story-telling and a lot more are accommodated in an effort to make learning fun, easy and interesting numerous innovative ideas are continuously explored.

MULTI-PURPOSE HALL

Our Multipurpose Hall is an architecturally beautiful structure on the campus. As a great multipurpose space, the hall satisfies the needs of its assigned function – be it multimedia presentations, stage and musical productions, physical education or dining services. Our Multipurpose Hall is 3337 square feet in area. It’s a fully air conditioned structure that has been conceptually blueprinted to distinguish it from the rest of the institution. The distinctive feature of this space lies in its various levels being utilized for different purposes.

WI-FI NETWORK

Access to Wi-Fi has allowed us to bring the digital world into the classroom. Lessons become more interactive as they are no longer restricted to textbooks alone. Teachers and students now have easy access to a wealth of online resources, content and materials.

We take great care to ensure that security of our network is given the highest importance. All data is completely safeguarded and we employ advanced filtering software that blocks any undesirable sites. Access to social media and other networking sites is decidedly restricted. Our teachers are trained to use information communication technology successfully and they share this practice with the students.

TEACHER’S BIOMATRIC ATTENDANCE

We collect our staff members Attendance with fingerprints recognition. Employees and school staff punch in the morning at the time of arrival as well as at the time of leaving under the supervision of the Public Relation Officer. This is very accurate, time saving, reliable and most important secure system.

ACADEMY TRANSPORTATION

The school provides transport facility for the convenience and safety of students. All our school buses are properly maintained and equipped with CCTV cameras and GPS Tracking System. The routes and stoppages are notified at the time of seat reservation/admission every year well before the beginning of the session.
